When to use this guide
Use it when switching supplier, qualifying a new part or colour, or when a distributor brings a new end-user project.
What you need
- Part data: substrate, pretreatment, service environment, current system, oven profile, specification
- Sample powder and colour panels from WANAN
- A temperature data logger and film thickness gauge
Steps
Send the enquiry and part data
Substrate, pretreatment, service environment, current system, oven profile and the specification the part must pass.
Receive candidate series and samples
WANAN proposes series with the TDS basis and sends colour-matched sample powder and panels. Samples ship as non-hazardous goods.
Spray the trial on your line
Coat trial panels or real parts on your production line and record the object-temperature profile.
Qualify in the laboratory
Test adhesion, impact, bend, humidity, salt spray or weathering in WANAN’s CNAS-accredited laboratory or in your own programme.
Release with batch control
Production runs under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 with batch testing and a certificate of analysis, in 25 kg cartons.
