Every claim on this site has a certificate number behind it
WANAN's quality, environmental and safety systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018; the design and manufacturing of thermosetting powder coatings is certified to IATF 16949:2016. WANAN is a QUALICOAT approved powder manufacturer (P-1436 Class 1, P-1982 Class 2), holds UL 1332 recognition for model WA-DQ 001A, and runs a CNAS-accredited testing center (L15415, ISO/IEC 17025:2017). SGS reports from 2026 cover RoHS, REACH SVHC, heavy metals and California Proposition 65.

How WANAN states its certifications. IATF 16949 is a management-system certification and does not mean every product is approved by an automotive OEM. CNAS accredits the testing center's capabilities within its annex; it does not certify products. UL 1332 recognition applies to model WA-DQ 001A on pretreated SPCC in a 1-coat system and does not authorise the UL Mark on other products. QUALICOAT approvals apply to the systems named on the certificates. RoHS, REACH and Proposition 65 results apply to the samples tested. Series performance values apply to the test methods in each TDS and are not a service-life warranty.
Frequently asked questions
Which of these certifications apply to all WANAN products?
The ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 certificates cover the design and manufacture of WANAN brand thermosetting powder coatings as a system, and the CNAS accreditation covers the testing center. QUALICOAT approvals apply to the powder systems named on certificates P-1436 and P-1982, and the UL 1332 recognition applies only to model WA-DQ 001A. SGS reports apply to the samples tested.
Can I verify these certificates independently?
Yes. QAC certificates can be checked at qac.com.cn and cnca.gov.cn; the IATF certificate at iatfglobaloversight.org; QUALICOAT approvals at qualicoat.net; the UL recognition in UL Product iQ at iq.ulprospector.com under file MH67657; and the CNAS accreditation at cnas.org.cn under L15415. Certificate numbers are printed on each card above.
Are the SGS RoHS and REACH results valid for every colour?
No. Each SGS report states the sample it was issued for: white, black and gold powders for RoHS, and a white/black/grey mixed sample for REACH SVHC, heavy metals and Proposition 65. WANAN quotes the results for those samples and tests additional colours or grades on request rather than generalising the reports to the whole range.
