From premix to pallet: how WANAN powder is made and tested
WANAN produces thermosetting powder coatings across seven bases with about 80,000 t/year group capacity, under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 management systems. The Zhangzhou headquarters runs an intelligent workshop and a national 5G smart-logistics warehouse with AGV handling. Every batch is tested in WANAN's own laboratory, accredited by CNAS (L15415) to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Enquiry & part data
Substrate, pretreatment, service environment, current system, oven profile and specification.
Candidate series & samples
Series proposal with TDS basis; colour-matched sample powder and panels.
Line trial
Trial panels or production parts sprayed on the customer's line; object-temperature profile recorded.
Laboratory qualification
Adhesion, impact, bend, humidity, salt spray, weathering in the CNAS-accredited laboratory or per the customer's programme.
Release & batch control
Production under ISO 9001 / IATF 16949; batch testing; certificate of analysis; 25 kg cartons.
Production
Premixing, twin-screw extrusion, cooling and flaking, milling and classifying, then packing into 25 kg cartons. The intelligent workshop at headquarters, commissioned in 2025, links dosing, extrusion and milling with the 5G warehouse, where AGVs move finished pallets to dispatch.

CNAS-accredited testing center
Accredited by CNAS under registration L15415 to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (13 September 2021 – 12 September 2027), the testing center runs the tests behind every TDS and every project qualification file:

Frequently asked questions
What tests are run on each production batch?
Batches are tested in WANAN's CNAS-accredited laboratory (L15415) against the series specification: appearance and colour difference, gloss at 60° (ISO 2813), particle-size distribution, gel time, and cured-film properties including cross-cut adhesion (ISO 2409), impact (ISO 6272-2), bend (ISO 1519) and pencil hardness (ISO 15184). Corrosion, humidity and weathering tests are run per series qualification and on request for project files.
Can customers audit the plant?
Yes. Customer and third-party audits are part of WANAN's IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 systems, and appliance, automotive and new-energy customers audit the Zhangzhou headquarters regularly. What is the 5G smart factory?
WANAN's Zhangzhou headquarters commissioned an intelligent production workshop in 2025, backed by a RMB 60 million investment, together with a national 5G smart-logistics warehouse using automated guided vehicles for finished-goods handling. The project is listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2024 5G Factory directory — the first national-level 5G factory project in Zhangzhou.
