Who this is for
Powder coating importers, industrial coating material distributors, technical sales channels with local stock, industrial protective coating and surface-treatment service providers, and custom, decorative and special-effect coating brands working on an OEM/ODM basis.
What buyers need to solve
- Channels lack a first-batch portfolio that has complete technical documents and covers several end-user applications.
- End users often ask only for price; the channel struggles to obtain part, service-condition and line-trial information.
- New brands raise concerns about slow sample conversion, stock risk and unclear project protection.
- Pure resale creates little end-user stickiness or repeat business.
Candidate series and the logic behind them
| Requirement / part | Candidate | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| E epoxy anti-corrosion + ISO 9001 documents | Industrial equipment, power facilities, general metal structures | Covers general anti-corrosion needs |
| EZ zinc-rich primer + CNAS test capability | Steel structures, heavy industry, power, high-corrosion primer needs | Projects with system requirements or under-performing incumbent primers |
| P480 weather-resistant polyester | Outdoor hardware, basic outdoor equipment and metal products | Outdoor weathering candidate and sample entry point |
| P720 weather-resistant polyester | Outdoor equipment, enclosures, architectural hardware | Higher humidity / weathering end-user projects |
| P1680 weather-resistant polyester | Highest outdoor corrosion, weathering and appearance requirements | Candidate for demanding projects, without over-claiming from the series name |
| IATF 16949 documents | Automotive parts, new-energy structures, appliances, demanding industrial customers | Supports channel response to manufacturer quality-system audits |
| WA-DQ 001A UL 1332 documents | Steel enclosures of outdoor-use electrical equipment | Used only within the certificate model, substrate and 1-coat system scope |
Insulation, high-temperature, low-cure, MDF, texture, heat-transfer and metallic requirements are collected through the channel and introduced in a second phase with dedicated grades.
What is verified before release
| Test dimension | Focus |
|---|---|
| First-batch documents | Share TDS/SDS, samples, ISO/IATF/CNAS/UL applicable documents and application boundaries |
| Customer screening | Build end-user lists by building metal, outdoor equipment, industrial equipment, metal products, new-energy and automotive structures |
| Sample line trials | Channel obtains parts and service conditions; WANAN supports documents and candidate series |
| Trial orders and repeat | Executed by model, colour, batch and customer assignment |
How the introduction runs. Part, substrate, service environment and line data → candidate series and colour-matched samples → trial panels or production parts on the customer's line → tests in WANAN's CNAS-accredited laboratory (L15415) or per the customer's programme → documentation and release. See manufacturing & quality.
Frequently asked questions
What does WANAN provide to a new distributor?
A first-batch portfolio of five documented series with TDS and SDS, a certificate pack (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, IATF 16949, QUALICOAT P-1436 and P-1982, UL 1332 for WA-DQ 001A, CNAS L15415), sample kits and colour panels, an end-user industry map, and technical support on parts, service conditions and line trials. Supply starts non-exclusive with project registration, moving to project protection as trials convert.
Does WANAN sell directly to end users in a distributor's territory?
WANAN's model combines distributors for regional coverage with direct technical projects at end-user manufacturers that have their own coating lines and material-selection authority. Customer assignment, project registration and price boundaries are agreed with the channel before joint development, so that end-user projects developed together remain with the channel.
What are the packaging and storage requirements for stock?
All series ship in 25 kg cartons, classified as non-hazardous for transport, with a 6-month shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place below 35 °C. Low-temperature-cure and fast-cure grades are stored below 25 °C. WANAN operates 7 production bases in China and Southeast Asia with about 80,000 t/year capacity; minimum quantities and lead times are agreed per channel.
