Thermosetting powder coatings, series by series
Five documented series cover the anti-corrosion and weather-resistant needs of industrial manufacturers: E epoxy (1440 h salt spray), EZ zinc-rich epoxy primer (≥ 2000 h) and three weather-resistant polyesters — P480, P720 and P1680 — tested from 480 h to 1000 h salt spray and up to 1000 h xenon-arc. All cure at 190–200 °C object temperature for 10–15 min.

Series
Choose by chemistry and tested durability

E series
E series is an epoxy powder coating for corrosion protection of industrial equipment, power facilities and metal structures in indoor or non-UV-exposed service.
1440 h neutral salt spray →
EZ series
EZ series is a zinc-rich epoxy powder primer that provides cathodic electrochemical protection to steel in heavy industry, power equipment and structural steel.
≥ 2000 h neutral salt spray →
P480 series
P480 series is a weather-resistant polyester powder coating for outdoor electrical equipment, architectural hardware and outdoor metal components with basic exposure requirements.
480 h neutral salt spray →
P720 series
P720 series is a weather-resistant polyester powder coating for outdoor electrical equipment, enclosures, air-conditioner outdoor units, architectural hardware and outdoor components with elevated humidity and weathering requirements.
720 h neutral salt spray →
P1680 series
P1680 series is WANAN's highest-durability weather-resistant polyester powder coating, for outdoor equipment, architectural hardware, enclosures and outdoor metalwork where corrosion, humidity and appearance stability requirements are highest.

Frequently asked questions
Which WANAN series should I start with for an outdoor steel enclosure?
Start with P720 as the topcoat candidate: 720 h neutral salt spray, 480 h humidity and 1000 h xenon-arc. Move to P1680 for coastal or industrial atmospheres, and add an EZ zinc-rich primer where a two-coat C4–C5 system is specified. Confirm the choice on trial panels from your own line and pretreatment.
Are all five series cured under the same conditions?
Yes. E, EZ, P480, P720 and P1680 are all cured at 190–200 °C object surface temperature for 10–15 minutes, applied by electrostatic spray at 40–100 kV, and specified at 80–120 µm film thickness. This lets a coater run WANAN primers and topcoats on one line without changing the oven profile, subject to line trials.
Do you supply insulating, high-temperature, low-cure or MDF powders?
WANAN produces functional and decorative grades including electrical-insulation, high-temperature, low-temperature-cure, MDF, bonded-metallic, textured and heat-transfer powders. These are developed against project requirements and supplied with their own technical data; contact us with the application and we will propose the grade and documentation.
